Delete Your Accountinu Data

This page explains how to request deletion of specific data in Accountinu without deleting your entire account. Accountinu is the personal and business accounting app available on Android, iOS, and the web.

How to delete specific data

Option 1: Delete data in the app or on the web (recommended)

Sign in to your Accountinu account at accountinu.com or app.accountinu.com.
Open the workspace that contains the data you want to remove.
Delete individual records as needed:
- Transactions: expenses, incomes, and transfers
- Setup data: accounts, categories, contacts, products, and tags
- Reports and saved filters you no longer need
To update account information (such as your name), open Profile and edit your details.

Deleted records are removed from your workspace immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account or need help deleting specific data, contact us at [email protected]. Include:

Your registered email address
A description of the data you want deleted (for example, a specific workspace, transaction type, or support ticket)

We will verify your identity and process the request within a reasonable time.

What data you can delete without closing your account

Individual financial records (expenses, incomes, transfers)
Accounts, categories, contacts, products, and tags
Attachments and receipts linked to deleted records
Saved filters and custom reports
Profile information you can edit yourself (name, password, two-factor settings)

Your Accountinu account (email, sign-in credentials) remains active unless you separately request account deletion.

What data may be kept

Even after you delete specific records, we may retain:

Server and security logs — retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting
Backup copies of deleted data — may persist until the next backup rotation cycle
Support correspondence related to your deletion request

Retention period

Data you delete in the app is removed from active systems promptly. Residual copies in backups and logs are purged within 30 days, except where a longer period is required by law.
